標準HSS探頭在緊湊的設計中具有20至100A的最合適額定電流負載比。可提供壓入式和旋入式兩種版本。這些探頭具有多種類型和多種直徑。此外,可以選擇彈簧力和各種套環(huán)高度來改變安裝高度。

在大電流測試探針的情況下,柱塞分成兩部分。在行程運動期間,兩個柱塞部分偏轉,在徑向方向上彼此遠離。這導致接觸區(qū)域(即信號傳輸區(qū)域)的擴大。然后,這允許施加更高的電流。作為該標準大電流測試探針設計的替代方案,也可以使用具有連續(xù)柱塞(即柱塞上具有尾端)的這種測試探針。由于直接信號流,這種設計提供了非常恒定和穩(wěn)定的低電阻。然而,當使用這種設計時,必須考慮到電纜(連接到柱塞的尾端)由于移動而始終處于應力下。使用高度靈活的編織電纜時,這種障礙也很明顯。
