一款2.4GHz雙向射頻功率放大器測(cè)試報(bào)告

前不久,有位好友需要在項(xiàng)目中使用2.4GHz雙向射頻功率放大器,分別有5W,10W兩種規(guī)格。朋友提到,此前已經(jīng)試用過多家的雙向功率放大器,但效果都很差,目前能找到的這兩款已經(jīng)是效果最好的,但仍達(dá)不到預(yù)期,所以想請(qǐng)我用儀器檢驗(yàn)一下這兩款設(shè)備的指標(biāo)究竟如何。我將測(cè)試數(shù)據(jù)做了簡(jiǎn)單整理,在此與各位讀者分享,其中5W設(shè)備以AMP5代替,10W設(shè)備以AMP10代替。

1. 測(cè)試設(shè)備

  • LitePoint IQview
  • 雙頻大功率無線AP,型號(hào)以WT2450代替
  • 國(guó)產(chǎn)20dB衰減器
  • 安捷倫30dB大功率衰減器
  • 射頻饋線及網(wǎng)線若干

2. 測(cè)試方法

臺(tái)式機(jī)上運(yùn)行Atheros的ART工具,使WT2450持續(xù)發(fā)送指定的信號(hào)。較小功率的射頻信號(hào)經(jīng)過功率放大器進(jìn)行功率放大,然后分別通過30dB與20dB的衰減器送至IQView進(jìn)行功率,EVM以及頻譜的測(cè)量。

4. 測(cè)試結(jié)論

AMP5 EVM指標(biāo)很差,在不考慮頻譜的情況下僅適合11b速率;

AMP10 EVM指標(biāo)一般,適合11b所有速率,11g和11n中較低的速率。

經(jīng)過 筆者的拆解分析,得知其標(biāo)注的功率是PA的P1dB的值,對(duì)于OFDM調(diào)制方式,必須采用功率回退保證EVM,所以在P1dB輸出功率下,EVM一定很差。由于這兩款功放設(shè)計(jì)上均帶有自動(dòng)功率控制,無法人為降低其輸出功率,因此較小功率的高階調(diào)制方式的EVM情況就無法測(cè)得了。
