實驗室水銀溫度計的校正方法

在實驗過程中,水銀溫度計往往只插入被測溫物中一段深度,外露一段。嚴格講,只有將溫度計全部浸入被測物中所測得的溫度才準確,因為上段表注與玻璃毛細管熱膨脹系數不同,所以實測溫度低于真實溫度。其誤差可根據溫度計的刻度范圍用下列差值加以校正:外露汞注的校正數值差100℃以下時為1℃;200℃時3~5℃;250℃以上可達6~l0℃。溫度愈高,這個誤差的校正數值愈大。欲得到較準確的溫度,可按下式進行校正:

一般情況下,常用標準溫度計校正普通溫度計,方法簡便:將兩種溫度計來球對齊,共同放在熱浴中,緩慢升溫,間隔地同時記下兩溫度計數值。然后再緩慢地降溫,與前面同等的間隔記下兩溫度計的數值。做出升溫與降溫曲線。著兩曲線完全重合,即可應用此曲線來準確地讀取溫度。
